The Haunting Of Hill House (2018)

Netflix's "The Haunting Of Hill House" reworks Shirley Jackson's novel into a family drama about siblings who can't escape what happened in the house they grew up in, told across two timelines that keep circling back to old trauma. The 2018 series builds its horror through mood and memory rather than constant scares. Kate Siegel, who is married to series creator Mike Flanagan and plays the adult version of the youngest sibling, appears in a sex scene included here.
