DMCA Policy
CelebMasta respects the rights of copyright owners and responds quickly to valid notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. Notices are processed every day, including weekends and holidays.
Designated agent
Send copyright notices and counter-notices to our designated agent:
CelebMasta DMCA Agent
Email: contact@celebmasta.com (subject: DMCA)
Please send only copyright matters to the agent. Other requests should go through our Contact page. The agent is not authorized to accept or waive service of legal process unless we have agreed to that in writing beforehand.
Filing a notice
Your notice must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act for the owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed. If one notice covers several works, a representative list is fine.
- The exact URL of each page on CelebMasta with the material you want removed, so we can find it.
- Your name, mailing address, phone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
Please put the URLs and details in the body of your email. Notices missing any of these elements may be delayed or may not be acted on.
Notices we check carefully
We confirm that each notice comes from the owner or an authorized agent and that the work named is really the one on the page. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing can be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees. We keep records of notices that prove false and may report abusive notices to the services they were also sent to.
What happens next
When we receive a valid notice, we remove or disable access to the material and keep a record of the notice.
Counter-notice
If you believe material was removed because of a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the agent with:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- The material that was removed and the URL where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the U.S., any judicial district where CelebMasta may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.
We send valid counter-notices to the person who filed the original notice, which means your details will be shared with them. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, the material may be restored 10 to 14 business days after we receive your counter-notice.
Repeat infringement
Where a source or title is the subject of repeated valid notices, we remove all related content from the Site.
Standard technical measures
We do not interfere with standard technical measures that copyright owners use to identify or protect their works.
Other removal requests
Do not use the DMCA process for content that may show a minor or for intimate content shared without consent. Those requests are handled faster through our CSAM and NCII Removal processes.
