Videodrome (1983)

David Cronenberg's "Videodrome" is a body-horror descent into media addiction and hallucination. It follows a sleazy cable programmer who stumbles onto a broadcast signal. That signal warps flesh and mind alike. Deborah Harry stars as Nicki Brand, a radio host with a masochistic streak. Her streak pulls her into the film's fever-dream logic. Her nude scene here plays into that unnerving sensuality. It's all pulsing and fleshy in the way only Cronenberg could stage it. Just one clip of it is archived on the site.
