Strip Search (2004)

"Strip Search" is an HBO television film built around an interrogation set in the aftermath of 9/11, with power dynamics that shift between captor and prisoner throughout. Maggie Gyllenhaal plays one of the interrogators, and her role puts her nude and topless on screen as the story pushes into uncomfortable territory. The hub holds 8 scenes drawn from the film, covering her nude scene work and the surrounding footage where clothing comes off as a means of control. It's a small archive built around a single performer and a single production, with every clip tied directly to her role in the interrogation scenes.
