"Every Year After" is a romantic drama built around a broken engagement and the friends who keep reuniting to pick apart what went wrong. The premise sounds tender, but the archive here tells a different story. This hub collects 7 scenes that catch the cast in far more revealing territory than the setup suggests. Abigail F. Cowen anchors much of it, with nude scenes that push past what this kind of genre usually allows. Aurora Perrineau also appears in footage that sheds any sense of restraint.
