Solaris (2002)

Steven Soderbergh's "Solaris" is a science fiction drama about a psychologist sent to a space station orbiting a mysterious planet, where memory and grief become impossible to separate. Natascha McElhone plays the presence tied to his past, appearing throughout in scenes built on close physical intimacy rather than action. The archive carries 3 scenes from the film, including nude and sex scenes with McElhone that play out in the station's quiet, dimly lit quarters. Her nude scenes here sit inside the film's central relationship rather than as a separate attraction.
