Les Menteurs (1996)
Movie 2 videosDirected by Élie Chouraqui
"Les Menteurs" is a French drama centered on lies and their fallout, part of the kind of character-driven filmmaking French cinema returns to often. Valeria Bruni Tedeschi stars, and the archive holds 2 scenes of her nude and topless work from the film. The footage catches her mid-unraveling, tied directly to the character's collapse rather than sitting apart from it.
