Les Chemins de Katmandou

"Les Chemins de Katmandou" is a 1969 French drama that tracks a group of young travelers drifting through Nepal's counterculture scene. Jane Birkin stars, early in her screen career, in a role that puts her nude in several scenes across the film. The archive carries 4 clips from the movie, with Birkin naked and in sex scenes that reflect how little French cinema of that period shied away from explicit content. This is one of her earlier appearances on film, predating the more widely seen work that followed.
