Ismael's Ghosts (2017)

Ismael's Ghosts is a French drama directed by Arnaud Desplechin, built around a filmmaker whose life fractures when a woman he believed dead reappears. Marion Cotillard plays that returning wife, a presence that throws the household into disorder. Charlotte Gainsbourg plays the woman who has since built a life with him, forced to confront what her partner's past demands of her. The site carries 5 scene clips from the film, drawing on nude and sex scenes from both actresses. Cotillard and Gainsbourg each appear undressed on screen, their scenes tied directly to the story's collision between past and present.
