Ashes In The Snow (2018)
Movie 2 videosDirected by Marius Markevicius
"Ashes In The Snow" is a wartime drama set during the Soviet deportation of Lithuanian families, built around one woman's fight to keep her relatives alive. Sophie Cookson plays that woman, and her performance anchors the film's two nude scenes on site. Bel Powley and Lisa Loven Kongsli round the cast out as women caught in the same deportation, sharing screen time with Cookson through the ordeal. The site's clips catch skin amid the grim setting, brief but present against the film's otherwise bleak tone.
