American Mary (2013)

"American Mary" is the dark horror-thriller from the Soska sisters that follows a struggling medical student who gets pulled into the underground world of body modification surgery, trading scalpels and ethics for cash and a twisted kind of artistry. Katharine Isabelle anchors the film with a performance that's as unsettling as it is magnetic, and the movie doesn't shy away from baring some skin along the way.
