Adult World (2014)

"Adult World" is a dark comedy about an aspiring poet stumbling through post-college disillusionment. She ends up working a job at a seedy adult bookstore. Emma Roberts leads the film as that struggling writer. She trades literary ambition for a paycheck she never expected. The role pushed her into rawer territory than her earlier work.
