Ulrike Folkerts

Ulrike Folkerts is a German actress who has also worked on the stage. She became famous playing police officer Lena Odenthal in Tatort, in episodes set in Ludwigshafen. Ulrike Folkerts is rarely nude on screen, with a swimsuit scene in Tatort and Katie Fforde (2017). She was born on 14 May 1961 in Kassel, Hesse, Germany. On stage in 2005 and 2006, she became the first woman to play Death in Jedermann at the Salzburg Festival. Folkerts is openly lesbian and won silver and bronze relay swimming medals at the Gay Games 2002 in Sydney. In July 2004 she added a bronze medal at the EuroGames in München.
