Tura Satana

Tura Satana was a Filipino-American actress, showgirl and exotic dancer. She made her name in exploitation and horror cinema, alongside her work on stage as a showgirl. Tura Satana comes up in nude searches, but her scenes in Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! (1965) show underwear, not nudity. She was born Tura Luna Pascual Yamaguchi on July 10, 1938, in Hokkaido, Japan. That exploitation picture remained her signature work throughout her years on screen. She followed it with the science fiction horror film The Astro-Zombies in 1968. Satana died of heart failure on February 4, 2011, in Reno, Nevada.
