Meiko Kaji

Meiko Kaji is a Japanese actress and singer, the defining face of 1970s pinky violence cinema. Her photo archive here holds no nude scene, but it does track her toughest roles. She broke out in Stray Cat Rock Beat '71, playing gang leader Nami in 1971. She returned for Stray Cat Rock Wild Jumbo, trading leather jackets for harder crime plots. Her defining work followed in the Female Prisoner Scorpion series, including Scorpion Double Venom. There she played Matsu, a silent inmate driven by revenge against her captors. Retaliation placed her inside yakuza territory, among double-crosses typical of the genre. The archive holds four photo galleries pulling stills from these films, no video clips yet. Expect cold stares, prison uniforms, and fight scenes rather than skin. Scorpion Double Venom is the gallery most fans open first.
