Directed by Shimon Dotan
Mary McDonnell plays Diane in this Montreal-set family comedy, and the listed clip is a sex scene pulled from the film's tangle of sibling rivalries and hospital-corridor drama. It is a brief, specific piece of footage rather than a showcase moment, set against the ensemble that includes Ellen Burstyn and Amanda Plummer.

Passion Fish (1992) Movie 1 video
Directed by John Sayles
As May-Alice Culhane, a paralyzed former soap actress adjusting to life in her Louisiana home, Mary McDonnell shares this sex scene with David Strathairn's Rennie, a local handyman who becomes her romantic interest. The film built much of its critical praise around McDonnell's raw, unguarded performance, and this footage captures the intimacy that develops between the two characters away from the caretaker dynamic with Alfre Woodard's Chantelle.
Dances With Wolves (1990) Movie 2 videos
Directed by Kevin Costner
Stands With A Fist gets a brief glimpse of exposure in this clip pulled from Kevin Costner's frontier epic, a rare skin moment for Mary McDonnell in an otherwise dramatic, restrained performance opposite Costner's Lieutenant Dunbar.
