Marie Gillain

Marie Gillain is a Belgian actress who works in both film and theater. Her big break came in 1995 with L'Appât, which critics and audiences both admired. Marie Gillain went nude in Le Bossu in 1997, and also in Fresh Bait and Harem Suare. She was born on June 18, 1975, in Liège, Belgium. L'Appât took the Golden Bear at Berlin, and she received the Romy-Schneider award in 1996. Over her career she has been nominated four times at the César Awards and three times at the Molière Awards. Other films include A La Folie from 1994 and Un Air Si Pur... from 1997. She also appears in Les Femmes De L'ombre and Une Place Pour Pierrot.
