Herta-Maria Perschy was an Austrian actress who worked in film and on American television. Her first big success came in Nasser Asphalt alongside Horst Buchholz, and Hollywood roles followed. Maria Perschy shows up in nude searches, but her Five Golden Dragons (1967) scene is swimwear only. She was born on September 23, 1938, in Eisenstadt, Burgenland, Austria. Her best known American films were the 1962 biopic Freud and Man's Favorite Sport? in 1964 with Rock Hudson. A burn injury while filming in Spain in 1971 needed several operations before she could work again. By the late 1970s she was taking small parts on Hawaii Five-O and General Hospital. She went back to Austria in 1985 for stage and TV work, and died of cancer in Vienna in 2004.
