Laura Smet

Laura Huguette Smet is a French actress and the daughter of Johnny Hallyday and Nathalie Baye. She broke through in 2002 with Les corps impatients, earning a César nomination for Most Promising Actress. Laura Smet went nude in The Bridesmaid, and her later scenes in La Garconne came out in 2020. She was born on 15 November 1983 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. Claude Chabrol cast her in The Bridesmaid in 2003, his take on a Ruth Rendell novel. She won the Prix Romy Schneider in 2004 and appeared in Le Passager de l'été in 2006. In 2007 she played Caroline in L'Heure zéro, Pascal Thomas's version of an Agatha Christie novel. Her other film scenes come from Insoupconnable, La Sainte Famille and Tiens Toi Droite.
