Joanna Kerns

Joanna Kerns is best known as Maggie Seaver on Growing Pains, a defining sitcom role from 1985 to 1992. Her early film work includes a nude scene from the 1976 creature feature A*P*E. That early role sits well before her television fame took hold. She later built a long directing career across shows like Scrubs, ER, and This Is Us. Before any of that, though, she was a young actress taking on a B-movie monster feature. The archive here holds one video from that period, pulled from A*P*E itself. The clip shows Kerns in a sexy scene, with her figure on display early in her career. It is a rare glimpse of her before the sitcom mom image took over. Fans curious about her pre-fame work can find that title here. One video, one era of her career, captured before Growing Pains changed her public image entirely.
