Cheryl Dunye is a filmmaker and actress known for New Queer Cinema, including her landmark feature The Watermelon Woman. She has appeared on camera as well as behind it, including nude work rare for a director of her standing. Her archive on this site holds one title, Mommy Is Coming, a 2012 release built around explicit lesbian content. It features Dunye alongside Lili Harlow, Papi Coxx, Maggie Tapert and Judy Minx. The scene is billed as real lesbian sex, not simulated for the camera. This is a departure from her usual role as writer and director. Here she is a performer in explicit content herself. The single video on file shows her in an actual sex scene, not a cameo. For fans of her film work, this is the one title that goes further than anything else in her career.
