Candis Cayne

Candis Cayne is an American actress and performance artist. She performed in drag at New York City nightclubs in the 1990s and came out as transgender in 1996. Candis Cayne comes up in nude searches, but her scene in The Magicians is sexy, not actual nudity. She was born on August 29, 1971, in Maui, Hawaii. Her best-known part is the Fairy Queen, a recurring role on the fantasy series The Magicians. Earlier, she got national attention in 2007 playing Carmelita, a transgender mistress, on ABC's drama Dirty Sexy Money. That part made her the first transgender actress with a recurring transgender role in primetime TV.
