X2 (2003)

X2 is the 2003 mutant superhero sequel that pits its heroes against a government-backed threat while old alliances splinter. Rebecca Romijn returns as Mystique, and the archive's clip catches her out of the blue body paint entirely. Famke Janssen plays Jean Grey, and her scene shows her outside the buttoned-up telekinetic role the film gives her. Two scenes total, both pulling the actresses away from the franchise's costumed image.
