Verguenza (2017)

"Verguenza" is a Spanish comedy built around a family falling apart under the weight of its own embarrassments, with the humor coming from squirming, uncomfortable situations rather than jokes. Malena Alterio plays into the household chaos with her usual dry, deadpan style. Marta Nieto appears opposite her in the cast, part of the same tangled family setup. The archive carries 2 scenes from the film, brief unguarded bits that stand apart from a script otherwise driven by dialogue.
