Tromperie

Tromperie is a 2021 French drama with a romance strand, built around Philip, an American writer living in exile in London who spends most of the film listening to the women in his life: an English mistress who keeps turning up at the studio they use as a hideaway, a student he was once involved with, and an old lover now stuck in a New York hospital. Lea Seydoux plays the mistress, and her studio visits are where the undressing happens. The archive holds 2 scenes from the film, both hers, covering a sex scene and a topless stretch in bed.
