The Unbearable Lightness Of Being (1988)

Philip Kaufman's 1988 drama adapts Milan Kundera's novel of love, politics, and desire, set against the backdrop of the Prague Spring. A surgeon splits his attention between two women as personal freedom and national upheaval collide around them. Juliette Binoche plays Tereza, appearing nude in scenes of quiet intimacy with her onscreen husband. Lena Olin plays Sabina, the mistress whose scenes push further into open sex and undress, including a mirror scene shot in bowler hat and underwear that's become the one people ask about. Between them, Binoche and Olin cover 9 scenes on the site, ranging from bedroom nudity to multi-partner encounters.
