The Thomas Crown Affair (1999)

The Thomas Crown Affair covers both the 1968 heist thriller and its 1999 remake, each built around a wealthy man who plans an elaborate robbery and the insurance investigator sent to catch him. Faye Dunaway plays that investigator in the original, matching wits and beds with Steve McQueen's title character. Rene Russo takes over the role in the remake opposite Pierce Brosnan, playing the part with more explicit screen time than Dunaway got three decades earlier. The archive holds 6 scenes pulled from the two films, including nude and sex scene material from both actresses. Russo's scenes push further into nudity than anything in the 1968 version, the kind of footage that gets requested by name.
