The Sterile Cuckoo

"The Sterile Cuckoo" is a 1969 comedy-drama about an awkward college freshman pulled into an unpredictable romance with a free-spirited young woman named Pookie. Liza Minnelli plays Pookie, the role that made her a star well before her Cabaret years, and the archive holds 2 scenes from this film showing her in nude and topless footage. These are early-career clips, rare for a performer whose later work stayed mostly covered up on screen.
