The Secret Scripture (2017)

"The Secret Scripture" is a period drama adapted from Sebastian Barry's novel, following one woman's hidden past across decades of institutional secrecy and personal loss. Rooney Mara plays the younger version of the central figure, a woman locked away and forced to hide the truth of her own life. The archive holds 1 scene from the film, a nude scene that breaks from the otherwise restrained tone of her performance. It's the one clip here worth a look for Mara's fans.
