The Savages (2007)

"The Savages" is a drama following two adult siblings dealing with their father's declining health and the old family tension it stirs up. Laura Linney plays the daughter, a role built on dry humor and exhaustion rather than any conventional leading-lady polish. The archive holds one scene from the film, a brief unguarded bit of screen time that shows a different side of Linney than her usual buttoned-up roles.
