The Reckoning (2021)

"The Reckoning" is a period thriller set against witch-trial paranoia, mixing accusation, persecution and psychological dread in equal measure. Charlotte Kirk anchors the film with a raw, unguarded performance that doesn't shy away from the material's darker corners. Her willingness to go there pays off across 3 scenes collected here, including nude and sex scenes that strip away any polish for something rougher and more human. Fans of Kirk's earlier work will find this one of her more exposed turns on screen.
