The Quiet Man
Movie
The Quiet Man is a 1952 romantic comedy drama film set in Ireland. It tells of an American who goes back to the small Irish village where he was born, only to find both romance and fierce local quarrels waiting for him. Maureen O'Hara plays the spirited Mary Kate Danaher, though the film contains no nude scenes and her images from it are classic clothed stills. It remains a warm, colourful favourite of its era.
