The Mouth Agape (1974)

The Mouth Agape (La Gueule ouverte) is Maurice Pialat's 1974 drama about a family facing a mother's terminal illness. Nathalie Baye appears in the cast, years before she became a regular presence in French cinema. The archive carries one scene from the film, showing Baye nude in a scene shot without any softening of the film's bleak tone.
