The Magdalene Sisters

The Magdalene Sisters is a drama film about young women sent against their will to a strict church-run laundry, where they face harsh labour and cruel treatment from the nuns in charge. The story follows their struggle to hold on to their dignity and their hopes of escape. Nora-Jane Noone appears nude in a scene that shows the humiliation the women endure.
