The Innocence (2019)

"The Innocence" is a Spanish drama built on quiet tension and intimate, character-driven storytelling. It favors domestic unease over spectacle, letting desire and restraint simmer beneath the surface. Carmen Arrufat leads that atmosphere with a frank, revealing performance. Estelle Orient brings a grounded presence to the film's exploration of longing. Laia Marull rounds out the cast with a similarly raw sensibility.
