The Idea Of You

The Idea Of You is a 2024 romantic comedy drama about Solène, a 40-year-old single mother played by Anne Hathaway, who falls into an affair with Hayes Campbell, the 24-year-old lead singer of August Moon, pitched as the biggest boy band on the planet. The music angle is mostly backdrop. What the film actually spends its time on is the age gap and the hotel rooms, and once the two get together the sex scenes come at a steady clip before his fame starts tearing the relationship apart. Hathaway does the bedroom work herself, and the archive holds 10 scenes from the film, all of them centered on her.
