The Endless Trench (2019)

"The Endless Trench" is a Spanish drama set during the decades-long Franco regime, following a man who hides inside his own home to escape persecution while his wife carries on a double life outside it. Belen Cuesta plays that wife, and the confinement of the marriage becomes physical as much as emotional. The archive holds 4 scenes of her nude and topless across the film, tied to the forced closeness between the couple inside those cramped rooms. It's the kind of role where the body is on screen because the walls never let anyone leave.
