The Chumscrubber (2005)

"The Chumscrubber" is a dark suburban satire built around a teenager's suicide and the numb adults living around him, mixing pill-popping parents with detached neighbors in a pitch-black comedy. Carrie-Anne Moss plays one of those disconnected suburbanites, a far cry from the catsuit role most people know her for. The archive holds 3 scenes tied to her part in this film, catching her without the sci-fi armor that made her a household draw elsewhere. It's a smaller ensemble piece, but her scenes here stand on their own in the collection.
