The Carnivores (2020)

"The Carnivores" is an indie psychological drama centered on two women whose relationship shifts from closeness into something possessive. Lindsay Burdge plays one half of that pair, and her scenes push the film into its most explicit stretch. Tallie Medel plays opposite her, and the two share a nude scene that plays out the story's fixation on control. The archive holds 3 scenes from the film, including a sex scene between the leads that goes further than the rest of the runtime. The drama around it stays quiet, but what's cut for this site is the physical, unguarded side of that dynamic.
