The Birth Of A Nation (2016)

"The Birth of a Nation" is the 2016 historical drama centered on Nat Turner's 1831 slave rebellion. Aja Naomi King plays Cherry Turner opposite the director's lead role, grounding the film's period setting with a more personal storyline. The archive holds 2 scenes from the film, including a nude scene that puts King front and center. It's a small entry on the site, but the footage is there for anyone looking to see her outside the character's usual costume drama restraint.
