Supergirl (2015)

"Supergirl" follows the DC superhero drama that saw Melissa Benoist's Kryptonian heroine juggle secret identity struggles with the messiness of relationships and found family on Earth. The series built a loyal following for its mix of comic book spectacle and grounded emotional stakes, with Chyler Leigh's Alex Danvers anchoring much of that heart. Beyond the capes and action sequences, the show offers a couple of scenes that strip away the spandex entirely, with 2 scenes on site catching quieter, more intimate sides of the cast. Caity Lotz and Floriana Lima round out the lineup here, adding to a hub that gives fans a different angle on a series usually defined by its heroics.
