Suffragette (2015)

"Suffragette" is a 2015 period drama about women in Britain's early suffrage movement turning to arrests, protest, and militancy after being shut out of the political system for years. Carey Mulligan leads the cast in a role built around activism and hardship rather than exposure. The archive holds 1 scene clip from the film with a brief look at a more exposed side of her work here.
