Stray Dolls (2019)

Stray Dolls is a gritty indie crime drama set inside a rundown motel, where two women get pulled into a desperate, escalating scheme. The film favors raw, lived-in tension over any kind of gloss. Olivia Dejonge and Geetanjali Thapa headline the cast, both turning in performances that go as unguarded as the story demands. Their chemistry gives the film's darker corners real weight. There are 3 scenes on site pulling from the film's more intimate stretches, including nude and topless footage. Nothing here feels like filler dropped in for shock value. It reads as character exposed, quite literally, in a story already stripped down to its nerves.
