Space Thing is a comedy science fiction film released in 1968. A man nods off after reading science fiction magazines and dreams that he slips aboard an enemy spaceship in disguise to stop an attack on his home planet, eventually forcing a landing on an asteroid that looks a lot like the outskirts of Palmdale, California. Cara Peters nude scenes as Captain Mother are the best known from the film. Its cheap special effects are part of the joke.
