Southside With You (2016)

"Southside With You" is a 2016 romantic drama set over a single day in 1989, tracing an early courtship between two Chicago professionals through a walk, a museum stop, and a movie date. Tika Sumpter plays the female lead opposite Parker Sawyers, carrying long stretches of dialogue that build toward a quiet intimacy between them. The site holds 1 scene clip from the film, catching a stretch where that closeness turns physical and Sumpter appears in a more exposed light than her television roles usually allow.
