Romeo And Juliet (2014)

This hub gathers separate screen adaptations of Shakespeare's tragedy about the doomed lovers of Verona, spanning different decades and productions. Olivia Hussey played Juliet in the 1968 film, a version still cited for its bedroom scene showing her nude and unguarded at an age that stirred debate at the time. Jessie Buckley took on a Juliet role in a later retelling, bringing a franker, more physical staging to the same material. Alessandra Mastronardi appears in her own take on the story's screen history. Between them the archive holds 2 scenes of nude and sex content drawn from these versions, moving past the dialogue into actual physical intimacy.
