Ragtime (1981)

"Ragtime" is the 1981 period drama adapted from E.L. Doctorow's novel, weaving fictional characters into the real turbulence of early 20th century America. Elizabeth McGovern plays Evelyn Nesbit, the showgirl whose looks drag her into public scandal, and it's the role that put her on the map as a film actress. The archive holds 1 nude scene from the film, McGovern topless in a sequence shot early in her career, before she became a fixture on screen.
