Modern Whore (2025)

Modern Whore is a documentary-drama built from a real sex work memoir, mixing narration with staged reenactment of its subject's own experience. Andrea Werhun carries the film alone, playing herself and speaking directly to camera between scenes that dramatize her work. The site carries 17 scenes from the film, and Werhun appears nude or topless in the majority of them, with several sequences moving into full sex scenes. The camera stays on her body throughout, treating it as the actual subject rather than something to cut away from.
