Mata Hari (1985)

"Mata Hari" covers the story of the World War I dancer and spy whose seduction work made her infamous, and this hub covers two separate screen versions built around her. Sylvia Kristel played the role in the 1985 film, appearing nude and in sex scenes set against period costume and interiors. Svetlana Khodchenkova took on the part later for a television adaptation, with her own topless and sex scenes drawn from the modern retelling. The archive holds 13 scenes total split between the two productions, giving a direct comparison of how each actress handled the same historical figure. Kristel's scenes lean into slower, drawn-out seduction, while Khodchenkova's material comes from a more recent, faster-cut production.
