Malcolm & Marie

Malcolm & Marie is a black-and-white drama set over one night, following a filmmaker and his girlfriend as they argue through the fallout of his film premiere and the state of their relationship. The film rests entirely on its two actors, with Zendaya opposite John David Washington for the full runtime. The archive holds 6 scenes from the film, showing Zendaya nude and topless in scenes shared with her co-star. These are the exchanges that turn physical between arguments, shot in close, confined rooms with little cutting away.
